RIVER DANE
The Dane is a great little river for a variety of species. Both the upper and lower Byley bridge stretch has some great runs for catching Chub and Grayling whilst trotting maggots with the odd Trout turning up.
There is also some great Barbel swims on the stretch and these have been caught to 14lb. Baiting swims with small amounts and keeping on the move with stealth being the winning tactic.
